Harkening
We often harken back,
to the glorious days of the past;
wishing.
Wishing to be at the Parisian salon,
of the Enlightenment,
or the Royal Society,
filled with the torchbearers
of modern science.
We often harken back,
to the glorious days of the past;
wishing.
Wishing to chat with Da Vinci,
discuss the world with Descartes,
and stargaze with Galileo.
We often harken back,
to the glorious days of the past;
wishing.
We do it so often
it makes we wonder:
did Newton ever wish?
Wish to have a chat
with ol' Euclid,
real fast?
Well quoted dear Princess. God bless
